Vinod Kumar Kumawat is a technocrat with over 12 years of experience in the software industry, specializing in application development, cloud-based solutions, cloud migrations, and analytics solutions. He is a certified SCRUM Master and SCRUM developer with experience leading product and technology teams in delivering complex data-backed analytical solutions. Vinod has worked across a variety of development methodologies and scales of organizations, from very large multinational enterprises to mid and small-sized growing MNCs. He currently leads product and technology teams at RSG Media's Ad-sales department, delivering products and customized solutions for USA and Indian TV & Media industry clients. In his current role, Vinod has 5+ years of leadership experience for TV & Media clients, where he has successfully envisioned R&D projects in advanced audience targeting, marketing campaign optimization for linear TV, and ad-sales optimization solutions across platforms, including cable, broadcast, MVPDs & DMAs. Vinod has experience leading teams in engineering products and platforms, including big data streams from various media sources like Nielsen/BARC, data transformations, predictive and prescriptive ML models, APIs, SAAS solutions, web-apps, data analytics dashboards, and more. He has enabled speed to market and faster execution through technology transformation by adopting efficient open source tools, cloud design principals, application migration to cloud platform along with process transformation by adopting Agile methodology, continuous integration & delivery, and DevOps guidelines. Vinod's past experience includes leading data science, data analytics & application development teams under various product lines in RSG Media. He also led a 10-member data science and data developer & warehouse team, delivering a promo inventory optimization engine that handles the complete life-cycle for TV promotions, from the high-level planning phase to scheduling on TV feed. Vinod holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, a certified SCRUM Master degree from CSD Class, and an Executive Certificate in Data Science from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
